Lauren Foley
is a self-taught queer disabled visual artist from North County Dublin (/Fingal), Ireland.
Following a resurgence in her visual work owing to ‘cocooning’/self-isolating during the first few years of the Covid-19 pandemic, Lauren has expanded the depth and breadth of her experimental art practice—most specifically in painting—while working on many series-in-progress.
Lauren has had artworks published in literary publications in Ireland, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and the USA.
She has exhibited in group shows in The Georgian Society, Dublin; The Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast; and Lusk Community Centre, Fingal.
She works as an artist under capitalism for money.
